I. What is this software?
DMTech Fire Panel Remote Client (refered to as "this software") allows you to connect remotely to a DMTech FP9000- and FP9000A-series Fire Panel, that has had a compatible communication module installed, and then monitor, control or configure the device.

II. How to run this software?
Navigate to the "FirePanelRemoteGUI-Windows" folder, and open the Windows Executable file "hybrid-gui.exe". This should open the graphical interface of the software right way, allowing you to start connecting to devices.

III. How to connect to a panel?
When starting the software, the "New Panel Tab" interface will be open. Select the Panel Type (addr. or conv.), then input the necessary settings, and click "Create". Then, in the new panel interface tab, click "Connect" to open the log-in interface, then input the device's username and password, and click the "Connect" button. If the credentials are correct - you should be connected and able to monitor or configure your FP device.

IV. What settings are there to adjust?
By navigating to menus File -> Settings, you can access the settings interface. The most important setting there is "VNC Viewer Settings", where you must select "Browse..." and pick the *.exe file of a VNC viewer client program. The recommended officially supported VNC software is "TigerVNC", though "TightVNC" is also compatible and tested.
The latest TigerVNC software version can be downloaded here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/tigervnc/files/stable/

By navigating to menus Automation -> Settings & Run..., you can access our automation settings, where you can enable/disable the automation feature, and then add a list of pre-configured panels, by username, password and settings, that the software will AUTOMATICALLY connect to upon startup.

V. How do I safely shut down the software after I'm done?
Simply clicking the red cross ("X") button on the top right of the Window is enough, and will automatically perform safe logouts for all currently connected devices. Clicking "Disconnect" or "Remove Current Tab" on a selected tab will also log out of that panel.
