Features
The DMTech ASD aspirating smoke detector is a highly sensitive detector for early detection of fire, engineered to analyze air samples via an aspiration system.
The device operates on the principle of optical smoke aerosol detection by analyzing light scattering and attenuation, utilizing an innovative combination of optical methods to achieve significantly increased sensitivity and reliability.
The detector can operate standalone or integrated into a fire alarm system.
Innovative Technology
The device implements a patented method (BG3757U1) for the detection of smoke aerosols, based on two light sources—blue (430nm) and infrared (870–900nm)—and two photosensitive receivers.
A key innovation is the combined analysis of three signals: scattered infrared light, scattered blue light, and blue light attenuation.
This enables the detection of “invisible” smoke (smoke without visible coloration), significantly reduces false alarms, and ensures earlier detection
Software architecture and functionality
The device utilizes dedicated embedded software for real-time control, analysis, and communication.
